Supernova

Business and office space: An innovative place adapted to today’s collaborative and productive work modes that are the wave of the future.

In its relentless pursuit to provide future users with different ways of working, Supernova constantly strives to surpass the codes of the workspace.

Shared and pooled spaces for encouraging contacts between employees of the different companies on the site are of prime importance to Supernova. This project illustrates the many facets of the Patriarche group. From property development to the graphic design of the restaurant menus, the agency was involved in various levels to offer a unique experience.

The architecture of the building, resolutely modern, offers bright spaces allowing a glimpse of the surrounding landscape. The building also complies with the objectives of the NF Bâtiment tertiaire Effinergie + label. Working with EnergiCimes to harness the solar energy produced by the roof panels is part of the agency’s environmental transition strategy.

Architectural Intentions – Design Approach

The project consists of two five-storey wings arranged parallel to each other along a North/South axis.
They form a central street that serves as a delivery route for the ground-floor workshops.
The two wings operate symmetrically, with entrance halls located on either side of the central street.
From each hall, a staircase and a freight elevator provide access to all levels.
The wings are connected by walkways that lead to all upper-level activity spaces.
This layout — two wings linked by walkways and large terraces — allows the surrounding landscape to flow into the heart of the project.

The façades of these two volumes are distinctly contemporary. Made of glass, metal, and textured concrete, they blend harmoniously with the surrounding buildings.

Modular office spaces

The private office floorplates are designed as welcoming and functional spaces, offering companies and users a calm and personalized working environment.

The four stacked levels in the West building represent a total usable floor area (SUBL) of 2,400 m²: 647 m² per level from the first to the third floor (R+1 to R+3), and 460 m² on the fourth floor (R+4).
The space required to meet users’ needs will be flexibly distributed across these levels.

Each typical floor can accommodate up to 50 employees in open-plan or partitioned offices.
Additional spaces complement the office floorplates:

  • Furnished outdoor walkways
  • Restrooms, including showers
  • A conviviality area on each level, designed as a cafeteria space

Signage – Walter Offices

A standardized system for evolving practices

Given the constant evolution of co-working space usage, our mission was to design signage that could be easily adapted to changing practices.
Thus, the components of the flags and information panels are interchangeable and replaceable thanks to a clamping system located at their base.
The standardization of the wooden bases helped streamline the production process and reduce manufacturing costs.
This “sandwich” fastening system offers a unique solution for multiple applications.

A clean design, an evolving concept tailored and standardized — these are the guiding principles behind the signage for Walter Offices in Le Bourget-du-Lac.

Restaurant : Le Supernova

Buildings are made to be lived in”: this idea lies at the heart of our approach.
Creating and operating a restaurant — the ultimate space for (often forgotten) conviviality — is a perfect illustration of this.
Integrated into its context and designed for social interaction, this rooftop restaurant, with its breathtaking view of Lake Bourget and the Belledonne mountain range, was conceived as a place to gather — for lunch or after work.

Born from a long-standing collaboration with chef Alexandre Henry, Le Supernova opened its doors in spring 2021.
