Last Friday, January 30, our teams took part in the launch of the construction of SULLY Santenov, alongside Dijon Métropole, Santenov Dijon Bourgogne, and all the stakeholders and partners involved. This marks a key milestone for a project set to become the flagship building of the region’s health ecosystem, scheduled to be commissioned in 2028.

SULLY Santenov is designed as a hybrid, evolving, and open place, able to accommodate a wide variety of uses while demonstrating a strong commitment to its environment. Spanning 6 floors and offering 9,100 m² of usable space, the building brings together training, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in one single location. Offices, laboratories, training rooms, and shared spaces have been designed to adapt to the ever-changing practices of the health sector and to create the conditions for a vibrant ecosystem.

Upon commissioning, the building will welcome a committed community united around a common goal: advancing the health of tomorrow. It will notably house the CESI, Groupe IMT, and École de Biologie Industrielle schools, with 5,510 m² dedicated to higher education, research, and training platforms, as well as a 1,536 m² innovation floor operated and co‑animated by Walter | Patriarche and Santenov as part of the Santenov’Boost program. This program is dedicated to accelerating and supporting innovative health projects within a Plug & Work environment combining offices, pre‑equipped laboratories, and tailored support services.

“Architecture only has value if it is built, lived, and inhabited. This is why we intervene at every stage of the real‑estate life cycle: Patriarche designs, Bart builds and develops, and Walter operates and animates to bring the building to life. Creating living places, offering flexible spaces capable of accommodating a wide variety of uses, fostering a diversity that supports innovation, and designing a project that is truly respectful of its environment—through the quality of its envelope, its system performance, and above all the intensity of its uses—this is the ambition we are carrying through SULLY Santenov.”
Damien Patriarche, Architect and President of Patriarche.
