The grEEn-campus project honored at the SIMI Grand Prix

At SIMI 2025, the grEEn-campus project won the “Jury’s Favorite” award, a distinction that celebrates both its architectural ambition and its environmental and societal impact. This major redevelopment operation for Stellantis in Poissy reflects a vision: a campus capable of reinventing a historic industrial site while paving the way for new uses, new mobilities, and new ways of working.

An industrial site transformed into a mixed ecosystem

Spread across 15.5 hectares along the Seine, grEEn-campus is rooted in a long history: that of an industrial site whose successive layers shaped an iconic productive landscape. The project marks a shift—from a monolithic factory to an open campus integrated into its urban ecosystem, organized around office buildings, an R&D center, a multi-story car park, and a Test Cars building.
This transformation is guided by a strong principle: rehabilitate rather than rebuild, reuse rather than demolish. The renovation of the previously abandoned B5 building, led by Autumn | Patriarche, becomes a model of sustainable conversion: preserving steel frames, partially maintaining envelopes, and reinterpreting existing volumes. A way to honor the site’s memory while giving it new life.

A sustainable and flexible campus

The masterplan builds on the existing orthogonal grid, enriched with covered streets and a landscaped diagonal. Designed to accommodate 3,700 people simultaneously and up to 8,200 in partial presence, it offers open, modular, and reversible spaces adapted to new work modes. The project reduces built-up area from 80,000 to 55,000 m² and restores over 20,000 m² of green space, with a continuous green network and planted edges fostering biodiversity and comfort. Certified E3C2, it aims for carbon neutrality in operation thanks to solar roofing and high-performance systems: highly insulated timber façades, active slabs, adjustable sunshades, and industrialized construction elements.

An award that celebrates a collective vision

The SIMI 2025 award honors a project that goes beyond architectural performance. It recognizes a profound transformation, carried out on an occupied site, at the heart of a changing territory, and driven by an extended project team: Stellantis, GA Smart Building, Crédit Agricole Immobilier Corporate et Promotion, Equinox, Programa.
grEEn-campus is not just a set of buildings: it is a new model of industrial and tertiary campus, capable of evolving, dividing, and adapting to tomorrow’s uses.
