Villa Colette 5-Star Hotel

Patriarche joined the project from the Preliminary Design Stage (APS) to deliver architectural and engineering design services and ensure that, within the scope of its packages, the interior design principles defined by Philippe Starck were faithfully implemented.

The building is organized around a main two-storey volume, creating a central winter garden space covered by a retractable glass roof. During the warmer months, this area transforms into an open-air patio welcoming restaurant guests.

The guestrooms offer premium amenities:

• Ground floor: private gardens for each room.
• Upper floor: wooden balconies carefully oriented to maximize views while preserving privacy.

A raised and covered terrace at the entrance provides space for outdoor seating, offering views over Place Reinhard and Arcachon Bay.

Patriarche revisited and developed the initial design studies, enabling the integration of:

• The client's new requirements, including the addition of a professional kitchen and associated technical facilities.
• Decorative elements designed by Philippe Starck, thoughtfully incorporated throughout the design process to enhance the overall project.
• Technical challenges related to the site, particularly environmental constraints and the organization of a low-impact construction site. These challenges were successfully addressed through meticulous planning and the expertise of multidisciplinary teams.

The entire project was adapted while preserving the original design intent and meeting the high standards of comfort and luxury expected of a five-star hospitality destination.
