ROJON Didier

Cost Engineering Department Manager - Equity partner
Didier Rojon was hired at Patriarche in July 1989 right after completing his mandatory military service, with a professional trade degree in Construction Economy. After working ten years as an economist in quantity surveying he took over the «Cost control» unit in December 2000. The following year he obtained his professional qualification as «O.P.Q.T.E.C.C» (Organisme Paritaire de Qualification Technique des Economistes et Coordonnateurs de la Construction)
In synch with the firm’s constant development, Didier impulsed the Cost control unit by implementing efficient and rigorous worktools and procedures, yet remaining open-minded in his approach.
Following his posting as director of the cost control unit, he became an associate in 2006 and was ultimately offered the position of technical manager in 2009.
Didier Rojon is passionate about sharing with the younger generations and educating them: he is involved on a regular basis in post secondary teaching, at the Bac+3, Bac+4 levels .
His talent for communicating with the business world and his interactions with manufacturers allow him to anticipate clearly the construction techniques that will be most adapted to the Architect’s vision.
He has been part of each and every one of the most prominent projects developed by the firm, striking the perfect balance between the architectural project, the construction techniques and the budget allotted by the contractor
His clear understanding of the markets and their evolution is key to his precise estimates.
Furthermore, Didier has had a solid experience with international projects, as he was assistant project manager from 2004 until 2009 in the Democratic and Popular Algerian Republic, during the construction of the new Alger Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has a surface of over 100 000m2.
He is currently in charge of a project in Togo and two others in Madagascar, where customs and usages can be very different, but require nonetheless the same rigor, mingled with a dose of philosophy.
